The title of an Act must be taken from the Short Title section of a piece legislation. This usually either the first or last section of a piece of legislation.
For subsidiary legislation, the title must also be taken from the short title section, but sometimes subsidiary legislation does not have a short title. Only use the heading of the notice as a last resort as these are usually added by the printers and are often not accurate.
